  2. DataScope's code is liberally sprinkled with error
  3. messages to catch the most commonly made user
  4. errors.  These messages specify the nature of the
  5. problem and attempt to help the user in
  6. correcting the problem .

  8. When sending correspondence relating to error
  9. messages to NCSA, please supply the number
  10. that appears on the pertinent error message(s):
  11. they are a big help in determining the pertinent
  12. location in the source code that is related to 
  13. the correspondence.
